From 28th January to 1st February, Oskar, Sondre, Tore Gjert and I went to Sestriere/Italy, to test the olympic hills only one week before the Winter Olympics 2006 in Torino started. We had four wonderful days, with lots of snow falling from the sky all the time. After testing the olympic slalom and giant slalom hills on Sunday, we went to beautiful Clavier at the French border on Monday. Tuesday was spent in Borgata, at nearly 2.800 metres high mountains and sun from a blue sky. Unforgettable days with perfect ski conditions for enthusiastic telemarkers from Noruega!

"La Baita"
Lucianos restaurant in Sestriere.
"La Baita" is the best, with traditional food of high quality. An informal, non-exclusive restaurant which makes you feel like home! Herman Maier and Alberto Tomba has "La Baita" has their favourite restaurant when skiing in Sestriere.

Lucianos mother and father makes the food, and he serves it to the guests. It is a real family restuarant. Of course, we also ate excellent food all three evenings we stayed in Sestriere. The restaurant is highly recommended, don`t even think of going anywhere else...
